Production/Assembly Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the Press and Stamping Departments on the 3rd shift to meet customer requirements
• Supervise Assembly Department roles, including Team Leaders, Production Associates, Trainers, and Material Handlers
• Ensure appropriate training, coaching, and discipline to maintain high performance
• Identify, record, and report quality nonconformances to the Quality Manager
• Develop production planning, establish timelines, and ensure departmental goals are achieved
• Address quality-related problems and provide prompt resolutions to minimize production interruptions
• Ensure raw materials and products are managed based on FIFO and customer requirements
• Maintain product identification, traceability, process control, and packaging compliance
• Analyze machine downtime to identify and resolve mechanical problems
• Assist plant leadership in driving key performance indicators and participate in the hiring and orientation process

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar supervisory role
• Thorough knowledge of automotive stamping and assembly processes
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (written and oral)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience using measuring equipment
• Strong coordinating, organizing, and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

Preferred Qualifications

• Community College coursework in a business-related discipline
