Production and Pre-production Environments Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution, monitoring, and resolution of batch and online processes in IT production and pre-production environments.
• Supervise batch process management, ensuring compliance with SLAs and implementing workflow automation in both mainframe and distributed systems.
• Guarantee the availability and performance of transactional digital platforms, supporting level 2 and 3 problem resolution.
• Implement observability tools to detect anomalies and bottlenecks before they impact end users.
• Coordinate and approve software or infrastructure deployments through change management committees.
• Lead, train, and evaluate technical support staff.
• Manage budgets and negotiate with hardware, software, and service providers to optimize costs.
• Manage projects aimed at improving and automating operational processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Systems, Informatics, Computing, or Telecommunications Engineering.
• 4-6 years of experience leading IT operations, technical support, or production management.
• Direct experience in both batch and online ecosystems.
• Technical proficiency in Mainframe environments (JCL, Control-M, TSO, CICS).
• Technical proficiency in Distributed systems (APIs, AWS, Cloud, Akamai).
• Strong decision-making skills under pressure and excellent communication abilities.
• Analytical mindset focused on continuous improvement and incident reduction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced ITIL certification.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
