Product Validation Technologist II

Responsibilities

• Execute validation testing on finished products
• Perform analytical testing and data analysis accurately and efficiently
• Introduce ideas for product quality improvements
• Assist in the development and maintenance of company specifications, SOPs, and best practices
• Identify process and evaluation improvement opportunities within production
• Understand ingredient interactions and manufacturing techniques regarding flavor, texture, and nutrition
• Work with manufacturing partners to maintain quality and consistency across recipe batches
• Stay informed of latest trends and innovations in the pet food industry

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Food Science, Food Chemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, and food manufacturing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Experience using basic analytical, pilot, and culinary equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
