About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and release comprehensive DV/PV plans, reports, and recommendations
  • Create and execute test plans for vehicle systems and the entire vehicle
  • Document non-conformances and collaborate with design and systems engineers to identify root causes
  • Design and configure test methods, scripts, and simulations
  • Deploy instrumentation and data acquisition strategies
  • Coordinate requirements and validation with component suppliers and external testing facilities
  • Gather and refine complex data sets into usable reports
  • Support maintenance and calibration of test equipment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of engineering industry experience
  • Experience in automotive or heavy-duty vehicle testing and validation
  • Experience supervising 3rd party test facilities and working with engineering suppliers
  • Knowledge of FMVSS, ADA, APTA, SAE HD, and NFPA standards
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, prototyping, and validation activities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
