Product Transfer Associate I

Responsibilities

• Manufacture custom and prototype assay kit components for internal and external customers
• Operate multiple production lines, including Plate, Reagent, and BioChemical manufacturing
• Operate and troubleshoot automated equipment used for biological assays and reagents
• Contribute to process improvement and assay development for new and existing products
• Maintain complete production documentation, including data entry, log entries, and inventory batch records
• Assist with drafting standard operating procedures (SOPs) and batch records
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness, equipment, and physical inventory of raw materials and reagents
• Perform daily maintenance and documentation for all production equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Engineering, or a related field
• Or an Associate's degree with equivalent professional experience
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work up to 80% of the day at a lab bench or in a cleanroom

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of relevant experience in manufacturing or a research laboratory
• Knowledge of automated equipment function and mechanical troubleshooting
• Experience with MRP or ERP systems (JDE preferred)
• Knowledge of cGMP and/or ISO 9001 standards
