Product Test Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot product hardware and provide accurate rework instructions
• Create and maintain spares and test equipment obsolescence plans
• Develop Basis of Estimates (BOE) for capacity, new capabilities, and equipment updates
• Lead projects to reduce test time and improve processes through predictive metric analysis
• Develop test flows and contribute to test capacity analysis
• Maintain test equipment technical data packages, including drawings, instructions, and software
• Perform non-routine fault isolation, diagnosis, and repair of products or test equipment
• Lead root cause and corrective action investigations using fault trees
• Perform risk assessments and support program risk register reviews

Requirements

• Degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Experience with electrical or electronic testing
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) access

• Experience with hands-on hardware integration and troubleshooting
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to develop sustaining solutions to routine technical problems
• Experience with data analysis
