Product Technical Leader (eAxle)

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical synthesis and full system integration of the complete eAxle system, ensuring seamless interaction between the e-Motor, Inverter, and Reducer.
• Act as the primary technical interface for global premium automotive OEMs during RFQ and development phases.
• Lead multi-disciplinary R&D work packages across mechanical, hardware, software, thermal, and validation engineering teams.
• Partner with industrialization and automated manufacturing teams to optimize the eAxle for high-volume production.
• Own product design safety margins and robustness, including DFMEA and managing NVH and thermal stress requirements.
• Manage system-level requirements, change tracking, and traceability using PLM and Codebeamer networks.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Proven engineering leadership experience in complex automotive powertrain subsystems.
• Direct experience with eAxles, electric drive systems, or high-voltage components.
• Deep technical understanding of permanent magnet machines (PMSM), power electronics/inverters, and mechanical gearboxes.
• Knowledge of functional safety architectures and ISO 26262 standards.
• Fluency in English with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to multinational stakeholders.
