About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute ISO 14040/14044–aligned LCAs and PCFs for vehicles, systems, and components
- Compile, validate, and structure bill-of-material (BOM) and supplier data for LCA models
- Develop and maintain life cycle inventory (LCI) datasets
- Conduct life cycle impact assessment (LCIA), scenario modeling, and sensitivity analyses
- Translate modeling outputs into decision-support insights for Engineering, Procurement, and Sustainability stakeholders
- Support integration of circular economy principles into product development processes
- Quantify environmental impacts of material substitutions and design changes
- Partner with Engineering and Procurement to embed environmental data into development milestones
- Engage suppliers to collect primary environmental data
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related scientific discipline
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment
- Hands-on experience with life cycle assessment and quantitative sustainability modeling
- Ability to manage and optimize complex datasets and databases
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Sustainability
