About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and maintenance of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for priority products.
  • Execute cradle-to-gate and cradle-to-grave Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) using established methodologies like ISO 14040/14044.
  • Improve data collection processes across functions and suppliers to ensure LCA/EPD inputs are accurate and traceable.
  • Analyze life-cycle results to identify environmental hotspots and prepare summaries for internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive LCA and EPD documentation packages to support auditability and internal governance.
  • Monitor evolving customer requests, program operator rules, and relevant sustainability regulations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate technical data into sustainability metrics and documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related technical field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in product sustainability, LCA/EPD, or environmental compliance.
  • Experience performing LCAs and/or supporting EPD development.
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to manage and synthesize complex datasets.
  • Proven project management expertise, including planning and execution across multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Sphera LCA for Experts software.
  • Familiarity with other LCA tools such as SimaPro, openLCA, or ecoinvent.
  • Experience writing EPD reports following PEP ecopassport® requirements.
  • Proficiency in automating data workflows using Power BI, Power Query, or similar tools.
  • Experience with Databricks or SAP.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMI PMP or Certified LCA Professional).
