About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and operationalize the company’s product sustainability strategy, including Design for Sustainability and circularity principles
  • Establish governance frameworks, policies, and KPIs to ensure sustainability criteria are integrated across product lifecycle stages
  • Leverage LCAs, PCFs, and environmental impact assessments to inform product specifications
  • Manage product environmental data models using recognized standards like GHG Protocol and ISO 14040/44
  • Monitor and incorporate evolving regulations such as EU ESPR, DPP, and EPR into product roadmaps
  • Support sustainability engagement for priority accounts and translate customer needs into solutions
  • Partner with R&D, Supply Chain, and Operations to integrate low-carbon design and gather supplier-specific data
  • Develop and leverage product sustainability data systems and software tools

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability Science or related technical field
  • 8+ years of experience in quantitative sustainability workstreams, product development, or LCA
  • Strong understanding of LCA methodologies and product carbon accounting standards
  • Proven experience with LCA tools and product data systems
  • Ability to translate complex technical information for non-technical stakeholders
  • Track record of governing product-related claims and communications
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Sustainability Science or Engineering
  • Expert understanding of eco-design principles and circularity frameworks
  • Proficiency with EU ESPR, DPP, and EPR requirements
  • Familiarity with semiconductor industry sustainable design risks
  • Experience supporting external audits or EPD verification
