Product Surface Prep

Responsibilities

• Operate tools and equipment to prepare interior and exterior product surfaces for coating operations
• Utilize automated blast systems and handheld grit blast equipment to remove scale, corrosion, paint, and dirt
• Purge surfaces of all chemicals and contaminants through established processes
• Adhere to all company safety rules and practices
• Participate in various committees or safety initiatives as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals

Requirements

• Ability to operate automated blast systems
• Ability to use handheld grit blast equipment
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety rules and practices
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience (preferred)
