Product Support Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor an aircraft modification team in a field environment at Joint-Base Elmendorf-Richardson
• Oversee retrofit, repair, modification, and maintenance efforts to ensure successful program execution
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with direct reports, site leaders, and DoD customers
• Manage team development, training, employee time, and basic human resources functions
• Collaborate with site and BGS leaders to optimize resources and implement process improvements
• Provide oversight on modification processes, scheduling, kitting, and tooling procurement
• Analyze data to develop conclusions and recommendations for operational improvements

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a leadership role (team leader, manager, or large-scale project management)
• 1+ years of experience with aircraft modifications, upgrades, or retrofit projects
• Experience with aircraft sustainment requirements, USAF technical orders, or USAF maintenance operations
• 1+ years of experience working within or with Military or DoD customers
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
• 3+ years of experience in leadership roles
• 2+ years of experience supporting USAF 5th Generation aircraft
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
