Product Support Advisor - Grocery

Responsibilities

• Execute category management and other initiatives within assigned grocery categories
• Manage and promote local assortment to achieve company goals and customer fulfillment
• Manage local supplier and broker relationships, including conducting reviews and negotiations
• Support sales staff with product assortment updates, informational inquiries, and training sessions
• Drive Sysco Brand sales and manage category equities to support pricing integrity
• Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to review sales and gross profit results
• Support inventory depletion by identifying discontinued items and assisting in supplier negotiations
• Act as the direct line of contact for local sales regarding all product and category issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years of professional experience
• Experience working within a retail, wholesale, or distribution environment
• Strong Excel skills
• Proven supplier negotiation skills and ability to form professional working relationships
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
