About the role
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end supply chain execution and operational performance for strategic product lines, ensuring achievement of service, OTIF, backlog, inventory, and cost targets.
- Translate portfolio strategy and demand forecasts into executable supply, delivery, and capacity plans across the global value chain.
- Lead cross-functional coordination across planning, production, quality, and commercial functions to ensure reliable execution and effective issue resolution.
- Act as the single point of accountability for operational performance, proactively identifying and escalating supply, quality, and capacity risks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including root cause analysis, cost reduction, and network optimization programs.
- Support the execution of tech transfers, new product introductions (NPIs), and end-of-life transitions across multi-site manufacturing environments.
- Monitor and communicate KPI performance and financial transparency through structured reporting and dashboards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing global supply chains within manufacturing or life sciences environments.
- Expertise in supply chain analytics, strategic planning, inventory optimization, and risk mitigation.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders within a matrix organization.
- Advanced business analytics capabilities and experience using dashboards to monitor operational performance.
- Ability to travel regionally and internationally (approximately 25–50%).
- Fluency in English is required; German language skills are considered an advantage.
