Product & Strategic Lead - Cash Services, MD - State Street Alpha

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product ownership of the Cash Services portfolio, including vision, strategy, roadmap execution, and measurable business outcomes.
• Drive a shift from implementation-led solutioning to product-centric thinking across the Cash Services suite.
• Define and govern the product roadmap, ensuring prioritization is driven by client value, scalability, and strategic impact.
• Provide executive leadership and oversight of the Cash Product Optimization organization to ensure scalable feature design and reuse.
• Lead a team of experienced Product Owners to ensure disciplined backlog management and agile execution.
• Partner with Global Sales, Implementation, and Client Management teams to support growth and commercialization.
• Define and operationalize product success metrics focused on adoption, engagement, and ROI.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in financial services (front office, middle office, capital markets, trading, or operations).
• Deep knowledge of Alpha and middle office operating models.
• Extensive experience with front, middle, or back office processing.
• Proven change management abilities with a track record of delivering successful transformation initiatives.
• Experience working with asset management or insurance company clients.
• Ability to travel up to 25% for internal management and client purposes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Significant understanding of Alpha Enterprise.
• Experience developing and implementing Alpha or relative middle office services.
• Proven track record of driving innovative products from ideation through design and development in complex organizations.
• MBA and/or CFA designation.
