Product Specialist

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic marketing plans for the Industrial Microbiology portfolio, including market analysis, segmentation, and positioning.
• Manage the full product lifecycle, including new product launches, line extensions, and product discontinuations in the Mexican market.
• Analyze sales performance, profitability, and market share to identify trends and propose corrective actions.
• Train sales teams and external stakeholders on technical product features, benefits, and applications.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, customers, and distributors.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs to ensure compliance with local regulations within the Mexico Hub.
• Prepare sales projections and marketing budgets for the assigned product portfolio.
• Represent the BD brand at industry congresses, seminars, and professional events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Health Sciences (Biology, QFB, QBP, Biomedical Engineering, or related field).
• 2-3 years of experience in product marketing, sales, or similar roles within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech industries.
• Proven experience in product launches and lifecycle management.
• Experience with laboratory quality control processes.
• Intermediate English proficiency (written and oral).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally as required.
