Product Service Engineer

Responsibilities

• Monitor overall product performance with dealers and customers to improve serviceability, reliability, and maintainability
• Coordinate product problem investigation and resolution using Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) processes
• Work with engineering teams to develop and implement Interim Corrective Action (ICA) and Permanent Corrective Action (PCA)
• Provide technical support and escalation through various support tiers (Tier 1 to Tier 3)
• Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) gateways, support request reviews, and bug triage meetings
• Assist in creating and updating product service publications, release notes, and technology training content
• Execute field follow validation plans and provide technical assistance for urgent field problems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, software engineering, or a relevant equivalent field
• Strong data gathering and analysis skills to synthesize information from multiple stakeholders
• Proven problem-solving expertise to resolve operational and process challenges
• Technical excellence in applying technology to solve significant challenges
• Effective communication skills to interpret and transmit complex technical information
• Ability to work onsite in Tucson, AZ, with up to 30% travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in mining or mining technology applications
• Hands-on experience with electronics and machine onboard systems
• Experience working with Fleet Management Systems
• Previous experience with Caterpillar Dealerships
