The company leverages advanced research in robotics and machine learning to deliver combined capabilities for unit commanders through its OverDrive autonomy stack and OverWatch C2 interface.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and validation of security controls for robotic platforms, including system integrity and data protection
  • Ensure compliance with CSEIG v3.0, DISA STIGs, and NIST 800-53/171 for ATO/ATC activities
  • Drive a secure SDLC by establishing policies and gates across design, code review, and CI/CD
  • Develop secure firmware and update mechanisms with CVE management and SBOM generation
  • Harden operating systems (Ubuntu and NixOS) using CIS/STIG baselines and least-privilege enforcement
  • Implement cryptographic controls including FIPS 140-3 compliance and TPM management
  • Build a secure software supply chain with artifact signing and provenance tracking
  • Lead threat-modeling and Attack Tree exercises across robotic and C2 systems
  • Establish API security aligned with OWASP ASVS, including mTLS and key management
  • Apply ROS 2 security principles such as DDS-Security

Requirements

  • BS in CS/EE or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years in cybersecurity or secure software development
  • 2+ years in a product security or offensive security role
  • Direct experience with DoD RMF, NIST 800-53, and CNSSI 1253
  • Experience documenting security controls for ATO/ATC in eMass
  • Proven ownership of SAST/SCA/DAST and CI/CD security controls
  • Strong Linux internals and hardening experience (Ubuntu/NixOS)
  • Hands-on experience with cryptography engineering and secure boot chains
  • Proficiency in Python or C++

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with LabJack sensors, Dataspeed Drive By Wire, Ouster Lidar, or CAN networks
  • Familiarity with ISO 21434 or UN R155 standards
  • Certifications such as GIAC GPEN/GXPN, OSCP, or ISC2 CSSLP
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance
