Product Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Drive product security activities across the development lifecycle, including design reviews, threat modeling, and security testing
• Execute product penetration testing, vulnerability validation, and exploitability analysis
• Partner with engineering teams to identify, track, and remediate product security issues
• Contribute to PSIRT operations through vulnerability intake, triage, and impact analysis
• Maintain and evolve product security guidelines and secure development practices
• Manage and operate the Product Security lab environment, including systems, tools, and networking

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in product security, application security, or penetration testing
• Proficiency with penetration testing tools and techniques
• Experience with vulnerability assessment, exploit validation, and remediation verification
• Strong knowledge of Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals
• Experience with security hardening techniques and common frameworks such as OWASP, CVSS, CWE, or NIST
• Ability to communicate technical risks clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to third-party penetration testing coordination and remediation follow-up
• Experience supporting centralized logging, telemetry collection, or detection engineering
• Background in maintaining customer-representative lab or test environments
