Product Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform security code reviews and penetration testing on web applications and services
• Embed security into the software development lifecycle from design to deployment
• Serve as a security champion within software development teams to promote best practices
• Provide guidance to developers on implementing secure coding measures
• Conduct risk assessments to identify and prioritize threats in applications and infrastructure
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement technical solutions that address identified risks

Requirements

• 2+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on security
• Proficiency in Python and experience with modern web frameworks such as Django or Flask
• Experience with React and modern web stacks
• Proven expertise in threat modeling and conducting security assessments
• Strong knowledge of secure coding practices and common web vulnerabilities
• Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
• U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status required
