Product Security Engineer

Responsibilities

• Analyze application and system architectures from inception to release
• Identify security vulnerabilities and integrate robust security controls
• Conduct architecture reviews and threat modeling
• Perform regular security assessments and utilize AI-assisted testing
• Mature the vulnerability management program and drive risk-contextualized resolutions
• Provide guidance to developers on secure coding practices and emerging threats
• Collaborate with incident response teams on product operations
• Mature automated SAST and DAST tooling within CI/CD pipelines

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Security, Application Security, or Product Security Engineer
• Proficiency in modern programming languages like Python or TypeScript
• Knowledge of security tools such as Burp Suite or OWASP ZAP
• Familiarity with modern security protocols and encryption methods
• Experience implementing AI to scale security programs
• Deep knowledge of container security (Kubernetes) and securing ephemeral workloads
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-premises environments
• Hands-on experience automating SAST, DAST, and CI/CD pipeline security tools
• Experience configuring and driving remediation through cloud security platforms
• Proven experience securing large-scale platform migrations and microservices

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional experience in autonomous vehicle, automotive, aerospace, or defense sectors
• Familiarity with physics-based simulation environments or HPC clusters
• Contributions to open-source security tools or published vulnerability research (CVEs)
