Product Security Assurance Architect

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent technical security assessments of firmware-driven products and embedded platforms
• Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented security controls and architecture decisions
• Perform threat modeling and exploitability analysis across firmware and embedded systems
• Advance secure development lifecycle (SDL) effectiveness across product teams
• Partner with adversarial security engineering to evaluate realistic attack scenarios
• Translate security incidents and vulnerability trends into improved development practices
• Support customer-facing technical security inquiries and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in firmware security, embedded systems security, or product security
• Expertise in secure boot, roots of trust, and cryptographic protections
• Strong understanding of attacker techniques and exploitability analysis in embedded systems
• Proven ability to evaluate threat models and security controls
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SSD architectures, flash memory, or storage controllers
• Experience with secure development lifecycle (SDL) and vulnerability management
• Familiarity with FIPS, Common Criteria, or CRA regulatory frameworks
• Experience with fuzz testing, penetration testing, and static analysis tools
