Product Safety Specialist

Responsibilities

• Author Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels for various countries in accordance with GHS and local regulations
• Resolve SDS and labeling issues for both internal and external customers
• Author compliance and customs clearance documentation
• Supervise and handle worldwide projects in cooperation with global colleagues
• Provide guidance to R&D teams regarding raw material listings, Low Volume Exemptions (LVEs), and trade secrets
• Implement legal requirements for the classification, safety, labeling, and packaging of products
• Support ISO audits and participate in knowledge-sharing platforms
• Develop product safety content for internal and external communications

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in Product Safety, Regulatory Affairs, or Product Stewardship
• Strong knowledge of GHS and its national implementations
• Proficiency in Dangerous Goods Regulations, including IATA-DGR, IMDG Code, and ADR
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Ability to work in a highly accurate, structured, and confidential manner
