Product Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of secured lending quality control programs across origination, servicing, and collections
• Oversee QC sampling methodology to ensure risk-based, statistically sound selection
• Serve as product owner for the QC Engine, including rule approval and performance reporting
• Drive root cause analysis and remediation for defect trends and investor repurchase demands
• Develop quality reporting, dashboards, and trend analyses for senior leadership
• Prepare the Quality function for audits and regulatory exams through strong documentation
• Partner with Operations, Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to align on quality standards
• Oversee third-party and subservicer quality reviews
• Support model risk monitoring tied to credit decisioning and early default trends

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in quality control, compliance testing, or risk management in consumer lending
• 2+ years of experience leading a QC team or managing analysts/auditors
• Experience with pre-close and post-close file reviews and root cause analysis
• Experience with regulatory exams involving agencies like OCC, FDIC, or CFPB
• Experience designing QC sampling methodologies
• Experience with non-performing loan reviews or servicing quality oversight
• Working knowledge of consumer lending regulations for secured products
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

• Experience with AI-powered or automated QC tools
• Experience with investor delivery requirements or loan buybacks
• Experience with third-party and subservicer oversight frameworks
• Experience building executive reporting and dashboards
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical testing frameworks
