About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional quality improvement team to execute quality plans and meet product KPIs, including yield, DPPM, and customer claims.
- Drive quality assurance by providing technical recommendations and consequence analyses to Project Managers and stakeholders at key milestones.
- Support the Project Manager throughout all phases of NPI, TPI, GPI, and maintenance projects to ensure producibility and reliability.
- Lead the FRAG forum, utilizing Six Sigma methods and data analytics to resolve critical quality issues.
- Manage risk decisions related to process exemptions and take ownership of Quality Alerts to ensure high-quality execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
- 5+ years of experience leading or managing teams in quality or manufacturing engineering.
- Solid working knowledge of quality management tools such as Six Sigma, APQP, SPC, FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and ISO 9001.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for delivering data analytics to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 10%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Surface Mount Technology (SMT).
- Experience with Automated Assembly processes.
