Product Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure major Engineer to Order (ETO) microgrid projects are implemented correctly from order to customer handover.
• Coordinate communication between central functions (R&D, Marketing, Service, Quality) and local service organizations.
• Collect and distribute technical and commercial documentation, such as drawings and unit settings, to support site activities.
• Monitor site activity and report issues found during design, assembly, testing, or commissioning to relevant departments.
• Visit project sites (up to 50% travel) to support local organizations and collect data for product improvement.
• Lead the development of FMEAs, control plans, and corrective action activities using the 8D methodology.
• Develop standards for inspection, testing, and evaluation of manufactured and purchased products.
• Monitor global product field failure rates to drive reliability improvements.

Requirements

• Technical school background; a University degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a technical role such as Quality, Service, or Product Management.
• Strong knowledge of Power Products and electrical principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Access.
• Proven problem-solving capabilities and ability to manage multiple tasks with high priority.
• Excellent attention to detail and a customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and plan activities in the short to medium term.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with supplier quality and executing PPAPs.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy and demanding environment.
