Product Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality assurance standards and inspection processes for industrialized product ranges.
• Conduct detailed testing, inspections, and laboratory assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and generate actionable reports for continuous improvement.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCCA) to investigate product malfunctions or material defects and implement corrective measures.
• Manage non-conformities by identifying, documenting, and monitoring effective corrective actions.
• Partner with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to integrate process improvements and perform capability studies.
• Conduct Gage R&R studies and develop reliable inspection tools and gages for assembly processes.
• Maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including RMAs, FMEAs, and control plans.
• Support incoming and outgoing quality inspections to ensure products meet customer and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
• 3+ years of experience in product quality engineering, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Expertise in the use and limitations of metrology equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Applied experience with quality tools such as RCCA, PFMEA, PDCA, and SPC analysis.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and SAP.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with international teams.
