Product Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality assurance standards and inspection processes for industrialized product ranges.
• Conduct detailed testing, inspections, and laboratory assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCCA) to investigate product malfunctions or material defects and implement corrective measures.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and generate actionable reports for continuous improvement.
• Manage non-conformities by documenting, monitoring, and standardizing solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and supplier quality teams to evaluate processes and equipment.
• Perform capability studies and Gage R&R studies to develop reliable inspection tools and gages.
• Maintain comprehensive quality documentation, including RMAs, FMEAs, and control plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or 5+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
• 3+ years of experience in product quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in metrology equipment, including its uses and limitations.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and understand geometric tolerances and dimensioning.
• Applied experience with quality tools such as RCCA, PFMEA, PDCA, and SPC analysis.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and SAP.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with international teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification in quality management (e.g., CQE, CQA).
• Technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, or software disciplines.
