About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality improvement strategies and systemic controls in partnership with Manufacturing Engineering
  • Serve in a leadership role for Problem Resolution Teams (PRTs) and technical investigations
  • Analyze and present complex data to support quality signature improvements
  • Identify and establish required Quality Management System (QMS) improvements for the new internal product line
  • Lead activities to support FAA and AS9100 scope expansion and maintain compliance
  • Lead process improvement opportunities using DMAIC, CORE, and Lean strategies to enhance quality and reduce costs
  • Provide technical expertise regarding non-conforming material and support the Material Review Board (MRB) process
  • Define and implement plans to support business objectives, including quality, CORE, and financial metrics

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with minimum 10 years of relevant experience, OR an Advanced Degree with minimum 7 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. Person status required (U.S. Citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience
  • Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001 Quality systems
  • Proficiency in quality tools such as FAI, PFMEA, DFMEA, GR&R, and GD&T
  • Experience in root cause corrective action and eliminating non-conformances
  • Practical experience with DMAIC, CORE, Six Sigma, or other Lean Systems
