Product & Quality Assurance Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and AS9100 certification activities
• Develop and implement Product Assurance, Mission Assurance, and Reliability programs for spacecraft and flight hardware
• Provide quality oversight throughout design, manufacturing, assembly, integration, test, and launch readiness
• Establish and manage nonconformance, CAPA, root cause analysis, and MRB processes
• Develop supplier quality requirements and conduct audits
• Lead internal and customer audits and external certification assessments
• Build, mentor, and lead Quality, Inspection, and Reliability personnel

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, aviation, or space systems quality/reliability
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing quality or mission assurance teams
• Working knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001
• Experience with CAPA, 8D, FMEA, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• U.S. citizenship, permanent resident, or protected person status required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting NASA, ESA, DoD, or commercial space programs
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma certification
• Experience with EEE parts control and spacecraft Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T)
• Knowledge of ECSS, NASA Product Assurance, FAA, or EASA requirements
