Responsibilities

• Act as a key advisor for legal and regulatory risks associated with products and features
• Own and maintain the global privacy program, including policies, notices, and data subject rights processes
• Guide product, engineering, and data teams in navigating privacy and regulatory frameworks using privacy-by-design principles
• Conduct reviews of existing privacy documentation and identify areas for improvement
• Advise Go-to-Market and marketing teams on product positioning and regulatory compliance reviews
• Monitor the evolving privacy and regulatory landscape to proactively update company policies and agreements

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree and active bar membership
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience in fintech, financial services, consumer technology, or data-intensive industries
• Demonstrated expertise in US and global privacy law
• Proven ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business guidance
• Experience advising product, data, and engineering teams on ambiguous legal concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with FCRA, Fair Lending, or Fair Housing regulations
• Prior exposure to the consumer financial data or credit reporting space
