Product Owner, VP

Responsibilities

• Define a clear product vision and maximize product value by managing, refining, and prioritizing the Product Backlog.
• Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on specific financial products, including features, functionalities, risks, and compliance.
• Identify market trends, regulatory requirements, and potential risks to support the product development process.
• Bridge the gap between product development, marketing, sales, and customer service to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Advise senior management and functional leadership on cross-functional impacts and strategic alignment.
• Manage and mitigate risks through rigorous assessment in support of the control and governance agenda.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build trusting relationships and achieve key business objectives.

Requirements

• Deep understanding of Payments products including Wire, ACH, Check, and FX.
• Proficiency with industry standard formats such as MT, NACHA, SWIFT, and XML.
• Extensive experience in Financial Services and Corporate Banking products.
• Proven track record of owning and delivering complex projects or initiatives.
• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management.
• Ability to perform in-depth analysis and develop innovative solutions based on extensive research.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAFE (Scaled Agile Framework) Certification.
• Strong knowledge of technology and systems.
• Experience in Project Management and Design Thinking.
• Expertise in Client Experience and Lean Portfolio Management.
