Product Owner

Responsibilities

• Create and drive the product/component roadmap with research and business/engineering stakeholders
• Own the customer experience by defining user flows and working with UX design
• Facilitate sprint planning sessions with the engineering team
• Define comprehensive business requirements and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
• Manage the full product lifecycle from idea and prototype to development and release
• Own the product/component backlog and timelines for scrum teams
• Maintain software documentation for new features and enhancements

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in deep-tech products
• Understanding of Robotics or AI domains and applications
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong ability to identify business problems and measure impact through KPIs
• Product mindset with ability to focus on MVP and high-priority features
• Experience in Agile development, including epics, user stories, and backlog grooming
• Exceptional analytical problem-solving and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in robotics, manufacturing, artificial intelligence, or developer APIs
• BS/MS in a technical degree such as Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Math
• Product Owner certification
• Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 and above)
