Product Owner

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Product Manager to deliver the strategic roadmap by breaking it down into prioritized requirements.
• Manage and maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog in JIRA or ADO.
• Create detailed features and user stories, including technical user stories where required.
• Define sprint goals and provide formal acceptance of work as done and ready for release.
• Support product discovery by elaborating on features and analyzing ROI.
• Manage cross-team dependencies and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Use data and metrics to recommend best solutions and track product performance.
• Actively participate in Agile and scaled Agile events to promote continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Info Sec and DPO to ensure product compliance and governance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Proven experience in a Product Ownership or similar role.
• Strong expertise in business analysis and writing user stories.
• Deep understanding of backlog prioritization and defining acceptance criteria.
• Proficiency with Agile ways of working and Agile metrics.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, ADO, or similar work management tools.
• Experience with user journey mapping, process mapping, and usability testing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a software or product development organization.
• Experience working within a financial services organization.
• Knowledge of user research, behavior analysis, and product strategy.
• Experience with collaboration tools like Miro.
