Product Owner - Design Automation

Responsibilities

• Drive product success for the SKF Design Rules Service platform by aligning user outcomes with strategic business goals.
• Partner closely with the Product Manager to align on product mission, vision, and strategy.
• Lead and influence a cross-functional agile team, including UX designers, testers, and developers.
• Act as the voice of the customer to ensure user needs and problems are represented in all decision-making.
• Manage and refine the product and sprint backlog, ensuring tasks are prioritized and aligned with a 3-6 month tactical roadmap.
• Lead continuous, outcome-driven product discovery initiatives to validate concepts and shape future directions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across sales, support, and engineering to gather feedback and conduct demonstrations.
• Track product performance and user behavior metrics to monitor effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10-12 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in a Product Owner role.
• Proven experience working with agile software development teams.
• Experience developing and deploying automation applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to travel if required for specific business activities.
