Product Owner - Data

Responsibilities

• Define and manage the vision, roadmap, and backlog for data products and platform capabilities
• Translate business objectives into measurable outcomes, KPIs, features, epics, and user stories
• Partner with business, analytics, engineering, and governance teams to prioritize data investments
• Drive discovery activities to identify business use cases, data requirements, and value realization metrics
• Facilitate data domain workshops to align stakeholders on priorities, definitions, and business rules
• Collaborate with data engineers and architects to deliver trusted, scalable, and reusable data products
• Monitor data product KPIs, adoption metrics, and data quality measures
• Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure strategic alignment

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or related delivery leadership roles
• Proven experience leading data products, analytics platforms, or enterprise data modernization programs
• Strong understanding of data concepts including governance, quality, cataloging, lineage, and cloud platforms
• Demonstrated expertise in managing product roadmaps, feature prioritization, and backlog refinement
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or SAFe frameworks and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
• Exceptional communication and executive stakeholder management skills
• Ability to be onsite in the Denver Metro Area 3-5 days per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using AI-enabled tools to accelerate product discovery and documentation
• Experience working within the Google ecosystem
