Product Owner - Camera Products

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary R&D-facing counterpart for Product Management to ensure alignment on scope, priorities, and delivery.
• Translate product roadmap input into prioritized, well-structured backlogs that balance customer value with technical constraints.
• Drive requirements engineering by translating stakeholder needs into clear, testable backlog items with defined acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate closely with Scrum Masters and technical teams to facilitate effective planning and execution.
• Participate in technical trade-off discussions regarding performance, cost, quality, and manufacturability.
• Incorporate feedback from Manufacturing and Service & Support to ensure product robustness and maintainability.
• Provide transparency regarding risks, dependencies, and planning implications across camera product lines.

Requirements

• Strong technical background in embedded software, FPGA, or hardware domains.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner within complex, high-tech R&D environments.
• Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies and effective backlog management.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Ability to engage in deep technical discussions with engineers and architects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the broadcast industry, imaging, real-time systems, or high-performance electronics.
• Proficiency in the Dutch language.
