Product Owner Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze business problems and client requirements to drive strategic change within Wholesale Lending.
• Develop comprehensive business requirements and operational designs to address business opportunities.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions meet organizational needs and expectations.
• Support the creation of business cases, feasibility studies, and project progress reports.
• Design end-to-end client journeys and processes to ensure solutions are effective and joined up.
• Lead change management activities, including the development of traceability matrices to embed new solutions.
• Manage and mitigate risks in support of the control and governance agenda.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering change or transformation projects within the financial services sector.
• Experience operating as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Process Improvement Manager.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align senior leadership across multiple business areas.
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategic objectives into practical, deliverable plans.
• Expertise in process design and strategic planning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within Wholesale Lending, Risk, or Corporate Banking environments.
• Exposure to product ownership models within complex, multi-stakeholder organizations.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and controls within lending processes.
• Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Ability to use data and insight to inform decision-making and process improvement.
