About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision and roadmap for the Platform Engineering domain, including internal developer platforms, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure
- Partner with Platform Engineering managers and staff engineers to translate strategy into requirements and milestones
- Lead discovery efforts to understand workflows of engineers, product managers, and designers
- Define and operate success metrics such as developer lead time, deployment frequency, and platform reliability
- Drive alignment across Engineering, Product, Security, SRE, and Legal stakeholders
- Own the product strategy for AI-enabled product delivery experiences, including Generative AI and LLM-based workflows
- Communicate roadmap, tradeoffs, and progress to engineering, product, and executive audiences
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of product management experience
- 2+ years of experience on technical platforms, developer tools, infrastructure, or internal products
- Strong technical acumen with CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, IaC, and AWS or GCP
- Experience defining developer productivity metrics (DORA, SPACE)
- Familiarity with AI/ML systems, Generative AI, and LLM-based workflows
- Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience making build versus buy decisions for AI tooling
- Understanding of responsible AI patterns including cost, safety, and governance
