Product Manager - Subscriptions Lifecycle

Canva is redefining how the world experiences design. The Subscriptions team is critical to unlocking premium value for millions of users globally, managing the monetization platform that enables growth, experimentation, and seamless subscriber experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the full subscription lifecycle, including pricing, plan changes, and reducing involuntary churn
• Build and maintain a prioritized lifecycle roadmap balancing retention wins with platform investment
• Establish self-serve capabilities for internal teams to run lifecycle campaigns independently
• Expand Canva's offerings through new product offerings and cross-surface lifecycle experiences
• Partner with Growth, Data, Monetization, and International teams to scale revenue growth

Requirements

• 6–8 years of product management experience, ideally in subscriptions, retention, lifecycle, or platform teams
• Proven experience in subscription lifecycle optimization or revenue retention
• Experience building or contributing to platform products and managing trade-offs between flexibility and standardization
• Proficiency in metrics, experimentation, and data-driven insight generation
• Strong ability to lead by influence and manage complex domains across multiple teams
• Focus on scalable UX for global markets and millions of subscribers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale platform thinking and user impact
• Ability to navigate complex churn funnels and shape long-term retention strategies
