Product Manager

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision and roadmap to digitize waste management processes.
• Identify market trends, user needs, and industry regulations to inform development.
• Engage with stakeholders, including waste pickers, collection centers, and recyclers, to prioritize requirements.
• Act as the primary bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Oversee the design and development of mobile applications, back-end systems, and dashboards.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure user-friendly interfaces for diverse user groups.
• Plan, track, and manage the execution of product development initiatives and milestones.
• Partner with operations teams to identify automation opportunities within waste management workflows.
• Drive the development of features for waste traceability, reporting, and compliance.
• Define and monitor KPIs to measure operational efficiency and user satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in product management, ideally within sustainability, clean tech, or logistics.
• Proven experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in mobile and web application development workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
• Experience with data visualization tools and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or PMP certification.
• Knowledge of waste management operations or circular economy principles.
• Understanding of APIs and system integrations.
