About the role
Responsibilities
- Build and manage product assortments for the sports channel, including newness launches and assortment maintenance.
- Monitor in-season product performance, managing promotions and inventory liquidation to meet sales and profit goals.
- Conduct competitor research and collaborate with the design studio for collection reviews.
- Partner with production and logistics teams on allocation, distribution, and delivery for new projects.
- Act as an inventory control expert, monitoring stock lifecycles and identifying risks based on sales trends and forecasts.
- Prepare pre-season Open-To-Buy plans and work with finance and retail teams on rolling forecasts and budgets.
- Drive new sales channel development, managing customer and geography expansion for partner stores and shop-in-shops.
- Produce weekly and monthly merchandise management reports to identify business opportunities and risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field.
- Solid merchandising or product management background, ideally within sports or outdoor brands.
- Strong analytical capability with experience working with sales, inventory, and forecast data.
- Hands-on experience in inventory control, merchandise planning, and in-season business management.
- Proven project management skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple functions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
- Fluent English communication skills.
