Product Manager, Software

Responsibilities

• Define products by collecting customer, partner, and competitor information to develop feature concepts and roadmaps
• Perform market analysis and technical/business trade-offs for product concepts
• Own technical and business performance of software products throughout the lifecycle
• Collaborate with engineering, program management, and business development to ensure successful execution and release
• Support business development by acting as a technical evangelist and assisting with Bid and Proposal (B&P) efforts
• Write whitepapers and proposals to support marketing initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, business, or a related field
• Experience in product management, product system engineering, software design, or technical management
• Strong understanding of radio systems and software
• Technical proficiency in software product development, security/encryption, networking, and cloud-based solutions
• U.S. Citizenship required
• Ability to explain complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Strong background in similar software products
• Knowledge of wireless communication technologies (PHY, MAC, and networking layers)
• Experience with software-defined radio (SDR) architectures
• Experience with tactical user-facing software systems/applications
• Experience in software development life-cycle management
