Product Manager, Retail Experience & Platform

About the Company

RADAR is building the data infrastructure layer for the physical world, starting with retail. Our hardware-enabled SaaS platform uses proprietary overhead sensors, software, and AI-powered analytics to locate every product in a store, continuously, down to the fixture. We are deployed across 1,400+ stores with retailers including American Eagle Outfitters and Old Navy.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for the platform layer including APIs, event streaming, and system health observability
• Define integration models for third-party hardware such as RFID printers and POS systems
• Drive retailer onboarding by improving self-serve configuration tooling and simplifying integration surfaces
• Own product capabilities for shopper experience including self-checkout, frictionless returns, and fitting room workflows
• Define requirements for ML-driven detection features like motion classification and shopper behavior inference
• Partner with engineering, data science, and deployment operations to align technical tradeoffs with business needs

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience with 5+ years in product management
• Demonstrated ownership of a technical B2B product (platform, API, or integration scope preferred)
• Experience taking data-driven or ML-adjacent features from definition to production
• Ability to evaluate technical tradeoffs regarding system design and infrastructure constraints
• Strong written communication skills for producing technical specs and decision documents
• Proven track record of operating independently across multiple workstreams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail technology, supply chain, or IoT/RFID domains
• Experience working alongside hardware engineering teams on sensor or device products
• Prior work on integration or middleware products for enterprise customers
• Experience defining product metrics in complex physical and digital environments
