Product Manager, Physical AI Agents

About the Company

Dexmate is building the foundation for physical AI — combining a new generation of robots with a universal Physical AI OS, making robots as easy to build and deploy as software. Our mission is to democratize robotics by lowering the barrier to entry, delivering a plug-and-play platform for developers, researchers, and enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for physical AI agent products, from on-robot policies to developer SDKs and cloud-side evaluation surfaces.
• Translate frontier research capabilities (VLAs, imitation learning, reinforcement learning) into usable product features.
• Conduct deep user research with developers and enterprise users to identify platform opportunities.
• Define evaluation frameworks and metrics to measure agent quality, such as success rates and safety envelopes.
• Shape the open ecosystem by deciding what to open source and how to cultivate a community of builders.
• Drive cross-functional execution across research, engineering, hardware, and design teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience on technically deep products (AI/ML, robotics, autonomy, or developer platforms).
• Proven track record of taking 0→1 products from research to production.
• Deep technical fluency in the modern AI stack, including VLAs, RL, and evaluation methodologies.
• Understanding of the hardware/software boundary, including sensors, actuators, and latency.
• Strong product judgment and ability to make decisions under high ambiguity.
• High agency and a bias for shipping and iterating quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on technical background in engineering, applied research, or a CS/robotics graduate degree.
• Experience deploying robotic, autonomous, or embedded systems in production.
• Background in developer-facing platforms, SDKs, or APIs.
• Experience shipping LLM-powered products end-to-end.
• Early-stage startup experience.
