Product Manager, Payments

ClarityPay is a fast-growing fintech empowering enterprise merchants with smarter, more adaptive pay-over-time solutions. We build configurable credit tools, including point-of-sale financing and "Buy Now, Pay Later" programs, to help businesses serve more of their customers.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for payments features and infrastructure
• Define product strategy, roadmap, and priorities aligned with company goals
• Build and optimize seamless payment experiences across online, in-store, and embedded channels
• Translate complex payments, credit, and regulatory requirements into product solutions
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, risk, compliance, operations, and go-to-market teams
• Drive integrations with external partners including processors, banks, gateways, and merchant platforms
• Use data, experimentation, and customer insights to inform decisions and improve performance
• Ensure products meet regulatory, compliance, and risk standards

Requirements

• 4–8+ years of product management experience in payments, fintech, or lending
• Deep understanding of U.S. payments infrastructure (card networks, ACH, authorization, settlement flows)
• Experience building or scaling consumer or merchant-facing financial products
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach
• Demonstrated use of AI tools in building product prototypes and automating workflows
• Ability to operate in complex, regulated environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BNPL, point-of-sale financing, or embedded finance
• Familiarity with underwriting, credit decisioning, or loan servicing systems
• Experience working with bank partners, processors, or fintech infrastructure providers
• Track record of launching new products (0→1) or scaling existing platforms (1→N)
