Modus Audit is backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners to invest in and modernize accounting firms using Agentic AI. We streamline financial audits from the ground up, partnering with firms to deploy AI agents at scale.
Responsibilities
- Bridge the gap between partner firms and the engineering team
- Interface directly with auditors to understand workflows and translate them into AI solutions
- Define the product roadmap by turning audit workflows into scalable AI product specs
- Partner with engineers to deploy LLM pipelines, RAG systems, and browser automation
- Ensure tools drive real business impact through direct work with auditors
- Standardize the playbook for modernizing traditional CPA firms through technology
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Product Manager, preferably in early-stage or high-growth technical environments
- Technical background or programming experience (e.g., former SWE or active AI side projects)
- Ability to comfortably read basic financial statements like P&L and Balance Sheets
- High comfort level discussing AI/LLMs, data pipelines, and technical trade-offs
- Strong bias for action and willingness to work closely with users and data
