Product Manager: Formulation and Packaging

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for formulation, packaging, ingredient, and substance management platforms
• Establish systems that act as a single source of truth for ingredients, substances, materials, and composition structures
• Support scientists with digital tools for efficient formulation design, iteration, and visibility of dependencies
• Manage the product backlog and demand prioritization in collaboration with senior R&D and functional leaders
• Lead cross-functional delivery teams using Agile and DevOps practices to deliver scalable R&D systems
• Ensure data governance, traceability, and compliance with internal security and GxP standards
• Manage vendor relationships and product financials, including cost forecasting

Requirements

• Significant experience in R&D, Formulation, Packaging Science, Regulatory, or Digital & Tech
• Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner for complex, enterprise-scale platforms
• Strong understanding of formulation development and ingredient/substance data models
• Experience working in regulated R&D environments with awareness of GxP implications
• Proficiency with Agile and DevOps delivery models
• Experience in vendor and partner management
• Excellent communication and influencing skills for engaging with senior scientific leaders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with commercial or bespoke formulation, packaging, or ingredient management systems
• Exposure to consumer health, pharmaceutical, or life sciences R&D environments
• Experience integrating formulation systems with regulatory, safety, lab, or manufacturing platforms
