Product Manager Food

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the product portfolio strategy for the food segment in Mexico to ensure profitable growth.
• Manage the full product lifecycle, including launches, development, optimization, and discontinuation.
• Establish pricing guidelines and analyze margins, cost structures, and portfolio profitability.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, negotiating commercial terms, prices, and contracts.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain teams on the S&OP process to ensure optimal inventory levels and demand alignment.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and raw material drivers to provide actionable insights to the commercial team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Administration, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in Product Management, Supply, Commercial, or Procurement roles.
• Proven experience within the chemical industry.
• Strong expertise in portfolio management and supplier relationship management.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Ability to travel as required by the region.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or a specialized business degree.
• Strong background in financial analysis and strategic decision-making.
• Experience with S&OP and demand planning processes.
