About the role
Responsibilities
- Define product strategy, roadmap priorities, and business requirements for issuer disputes platforms and operational tools
- Partner with business stakeholders, engineering, operations, and third-party vendors to deliver system implementations and enhancements
- Create and maintain product documentation, including business requirements, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Analyze disputes processes and operational workflows to identify gaps and define future-state solutions to reduce financial losses
- Manage delivery plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and scope changes to ensure successful execution
- Monitor industry and regulatory developments, including card network rules and dispute-related requirements, to inform product decisions
- Coordinate across fraud operations, technology teams, and cybersecurity to align outcomes
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management, project management, or business analysis within payments, financial services, or banking
- 4+ years of experience gathering and documenting business requirements, process workflows, and functional specifications
- 4+ years of experience supporting disputes processing, payments operations, or related platforms for card-based products
- Proficiency in delivery and documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, or Microsoft Excel
- Experience analyzing system interactions and supporting technology product implementation and testing
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models
- Experience implementing fraud prevention systems or dispute management tools
- Knowledge of Visa, Mastercard, and other payment network dispute processes and rules
